after filling with fluid ran engine on idle for about 20 minutes before it overheated again.
checked to verify that the thermostat opens. It opened at about 200 deg. Flushed wngine again and the radiator. Water flow from thermostat opening to the lower opening of the engine at the water hose.
water flow through the heater element.
water flow through the radiator.
replaced the thermostat closed up and refilled motor with fluid (WATER/ANTIFREEZE)
AGAIN THE SAME THING. Overheated at about 15 minutes of idle.
Replaced the radiator. Now new radiator, good thermostat, water flow through motor, etc/
Still overheating after aboutr 15 minutes at idle.
other symptoms. Water hose from radiator to the thermostat, has high pressure with the motor running, either hot or cold.
I assume the water pump is working because of this high pressure.
With the motor COLD and running only about 1 minute the pressure at the radiator cap is enough to cause water to gush out when the radiator cap is opened.
Any sggestions HELP ! What next.
