My car has been dying a lot. I've checked the connections perfectly tight. I've checked the starter, alternator their good. When I try starting it the third time it locks my doors and I don't have power locks. And all start up loghts come on just don't turn over. What could be cauasing this?
Also when I'm low on gas like half tank or below my car makes a loud sharp noise coming from back of passenger side in tank area when I turn only right. What could that be. None of my mechanics will check it cause they don't know what it is either.

If you don't have power locks and they are unlocking themselves, you may need a priest to exercise the car and not a mechanic. (LOL) I never heard of such a thing.

Does the starter work when it doesn't start or does it crank and not start?

Has the check engine light ever come on? Also, how loud is the fuel pump? Did you replace the fuel filter with the pump? Also, are you sure you don't have power locks? There is no way they could lock themselves if they are manual locks. That really has me confused.
