1997 Ford Escort 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I just replaced the headlights on my Escort. The question I have is when I turn the headlights on, the high beam & low beans are in reverse position. How do I correct this?

You are the second one I saw with this type of question using an aftermarket headlight but the other guy never replied back and no others answered that question. This is just maybe: 1. Bulb is upside down 2. Incorrect bulb (Did you use the 9007 bulb? Because 9004 and 9007 looks the same) Other than these, I do not know the answer.
