Electrical problem
1997 Ford Escort

I recently installed after-market headlight assemblies. Everything seemed to work well-low beams and high beams. The car was recently jumped for a dead battery and now the high and low beam switch is reversed. When the high beam indicator light is on the low beams work. When the indicator light is off, the HIGH beams are on. Can you tell me how to fix this. THANKS

I don't know if jumping a dead battery will switch the high and low beam. My only GUESS is you might have installed a 9004 bulb instead of a 9007 bulb. Or the bulb is upside down. Other than this, I do not know the answer.
