The light for my gear shift went out and I want to replace it. For the most part I know what gear I'm in, but at night it would help to see.

you have to take the shifter apart and most likely it has a fiber optic light . prob just a bad connection.. have you tried tapping on the shifter with lights on at nite to see if it flashes if yes loose connection
