1997 Ford Escort 4 cyl Automatic 67,000 miles

I would like to know how to open the fuse box to replace a fuse. Manual says that a tool is provided, but I can't find a tool to open it. Can I open it up with something else?

If your talking about the fuse box inside the car you should just be able to lift up from the bottom and pull away to get the fuse panel cover off. If you talking about pull the fuse out, then just get a pair of needle nose pliers.
