1997 Ford Escort engine chugging

Hi, thank you, I have a 97 ford escort wagon, one day while drivin it started chugging, makes like a helicopter noise from the engine after running for couple minutes, hafta fill w/water everytime I leave, car wont make it ten miles without running horribly and stalling, ive replaced the sparkplugs, the ignition coil and the fuel filter, is it the waterpump? Please help as im very broke and borrowed all the money I can to fix this and its still the same, please help me here in arizona

Well bub theres not a lot we can do without looking at the car. You need to find where the waters leaking from. Possible head gasket leak? Id bring it to a shop and have them pressure test the cooling system, thats the least expensive thing to do. Hope this helps
