Hello, my cousin gave me this car a month ago. When he left he told me it idle rough when stopped at a light might need a tune up. Well the check engine light came on. So I took it to a mechanic who told me it was just the oxygen sensor would be fine if replaced. So I had him fix it for 160.00. Now he's tell me I need a new engine on top of that. So I took my car now its have low coolant light comes on. But there is no leak or spots on the ground. Also I have low compression on my 3 cylinder. What is it? Can I get my money back for the oxygen censor?

No you cannot get the money back -services has been rendered-for the low cyl. On no.3 could be a valve/ring/cyl wear-My best advise is either you spend money to get it running or give it back or part out on it-

That should be no problem, if the car wasn't driven out of the shop, if it was, did it solve the problem of the poor idle? If the car was not fixed then argue, or sue in small claims court.

It was driven out of the shop. And no it was never repaired. That was the reason in going in to get that checked out.
