I've read several posts on several websites related to this problem and understand that this problem is usually the rotors. However, My rotors appear to be fine, and my situation is a little different. I was forced to leave my car sit in the driveway for a few months without being driven, and upon resuming driving, the brakes just started to shake the car the first time they were applied. Is it possible that this could be related to the fact that it sat for so long without being driven?

Sounds like its the rotors to me, or jack the front end up and shake it, should be very little movement.
Although the rotors look good, it doesnt mean they are, they need the proper specs.
