Electrical problem
1997 Ford Escort 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1997 Ford Escort station wagon. The brakelight in the liftgate works, but the others don't. The bulbs are good, as the turn signals work, as well as the emergency flasher. I'm stumped.

If the 3rd light works and signals, there has to be a problem with one of the wires going back to it.
