I took the battery out to charge it then hooked back one morning and hooked it up backwards. When I rehooked it correctly I noticed only thr headlights would work
then checked fuses it blowed the main 100 amp fuse others were good. Replaced bad fuse now my lights etc work will crank over fine but will not start

When battery was in backwards did you try to start the engine
if so recheck check all fuses and links
check ignition switch

I rechecked 100 amp fuse I overlooked a wire that goes on one of the screws holding the fuse reatached wire and now engine starts and runs real good no check engine light but alternator is now bad
