hello, I wrote about a month ago regarding a problem I was having, you guys were a great help.
I have a LX 1.9L with 5 speed manual.
New problem: this morning on the way to work, the car shifted and drove fine. A few blocks from the office the clutch turned to moosh and I could barely get it from gear to gear. from a stop, I could not get in gear or get going. Once moving, the car held each gear and I felt no slipping. I also did not smell anything or ever see any fluid on the ground form where the car is parked each day. The car is now sitting - do I need a new clutch? I got a quote on a new clutch for $680. That's a lot of money to me.

sounds like the clutch needs replacing and that is a reasonable price for the repair
