Hi I've got a problem with my Ford 95 Escort(engine 1.9), while driving it died on me, and one of the problems that occur when driving was the frist thing to shut off was my radio, and then the gas pedle was not doing much. Then the car died, I took it back to my house, and began trying to find the problem, my first thought would be the altenator, but I took that apart and brought it into advance auto parts to have it be checked, and they said it was fine, then I thought it could be the spark plugs but the sparks are lighting and its very good as well, so my guess would be the battery, or my timing belt which I have not checked yet, the car wants to start, I hear a clicking noise and I checked the fuel switch and idk if its up or down, I really dont know what the fuel switch does, but I need to find what the situtation is so I hope that you guys can help me.

The inertia switch needs to be pushed down. If it already down then your fault is not that. Next check you are getting fuel to the spark plugs. And check the timing belt. If you are just getting a click when you turn the key charge or replace the battery and check starter motor !
