I bought a used car about a year ago and until now I've had no problems. Today I was driving down the road when I stopped at a stop light and my RPMs dropped to almost a stall. When I started to go again my car would ony go 5 mph. I noticed my engine temperature needle was as high as it can get, so I rolled it into an empty parking lot. I thought it might be a radiator leak so I opened the hood. I then noticed that steam was coming from my air filter. When I opened up the air filter box, light brown fluid poured out. It smelt like oil so I checked the dip stick. It came up with a light brown foam on it and not a drop of oil. The car still starts but it goes very, very slow. Any Idea what this might be, what I should expect from the shop, and is it time to start looking for a new car.
