1995 Ford Escort 1.9L 180000m- Clutch

This is my first time trying out forums for advice on the car, figured I'd give it a shot.

This is my problem

My clutch peddle seems to have zero resistance 90% of its way down when I attempt to push it down. The last 10% actually seems to "catch" any sort of resistance and barely depresses enough for me to put the car into gear, let alone change gears.

If I give the engine gas it seems to gain more resistance and is slightly easier to use the clutch. Like 80% of the way down is nothing, and 20% I have resistance.

The fluid was low a day ago when I checked, just filled it up a few hours ago and nothing has seemed to change. The fluid is still full, but no change to the clutch. Any ideas?

Thank you for any assisstance!

Try bleeding the clutch slave/servo-when that's done adjust the free play and pedal height.
