I am removing the thermostat housing to replace thermostat and one of the bolts broke off. I tried to remove with an ez-out to no avail. Will the housing tighten down and not leak with only two bolts active

it needs the 3 bolts really ... if you can't get a bolt removal tool onto what is left .. you will have to drill it out.. re-tap (thread) the hole and use a slightly larger bolt .. you could use a good sealer as a temporary measure but it will not last for long
