I noticed that my engine was smoking at a light, stopped and popped the hood and noticed the smell of burning coolant and could make out a leak but couldn't tell where it was coming from. I am far from a mechanic but I was wondering what that is from, if it's because of my engine over heating or what?

Hi casey
the smell is from the coolant leaking on the eng and burning off. to fix this you need to have that leak diagnosed and repaired and then will go away
