Every time I push the neutral safety switch in, the stater cranks over without the key in the ignition. The car will start if I put the key in and turn it on. I can still shift gears and move if I push the clutch halfway in. But with the car on and if I push the clutch all the way in, you can hear the starter cranking. I have replace the neutral safety swiitch and the problem still exist. What else could be the cause?

Sounds more like the ignition switch is shorted internally, powering the crank circuit all of the time

Thank you. I found that this morning. I started tracing the lines and found them going to the ignition switch. I unplug it, pushed in the neutral switch and the starter did not turn over. I proceeded to remove the ignition switch. Upon a visual I noticed that some of the pegs were stuck in. I removed it and opened the housing surrounding the switch and found that it was burnt. One of the pegs were also burnt badly. All the metal contact were corroded and plastic had been burnt around some of the contact points. I have the switch on order and should come in tomorrow. I believe this should take care of it. I will know tomorrow and will post results. Thank you again.

Neutral Safety Switch was not the problem with this. It was the Ignition switch. Problem is solved. Thanks for the help.
