I'm trying to find out the best way to replace the exhaust flange gasket. Can it be done from the top or is it from the bottom? I have an exhaust leak and I'm thinking its the flange gasket, what do you think from your experience?

Thanks,

It seems to be coming from where the exhaust meets into the manifold!

It sounds like the exhaust manifold gasket. Actually, you will find yourself working both from the top and the bottom. The gasket most likely has burned out in one spot.
