1993 Ford Escort Brake Lights

1993 Ford Escort

With the headlights off, and the brake depressed, one light is bright and the other dim. Same situation with the headlights on, one brake light is bright and the goes out altogether.

This sounds like a ground problem. Have you checked it for that?

Run a seperate ground to the light that isn't working properly.
