I need to check my transmission fluid can't find the dip stick

is it automatic
or standard
if manual no dip stick and have to jack car up and remove inspection bolt to check fluid

They are not the easiest to locate. I attached a picture of the general area that they will be located. It most likely is not a yellow handled dipstick like in more modern vehicles. It is probably a black or dark colored handle that will blend in. However, it will be located on the top of the transmission on the driver side of the engine.
