1991 Ford Escort starting problem

I put a new starter in and when I put the batt. Term on and tryed to start the starter would not stop turning till I re moved batt term then I put term back on now starter wont turn at all dose car have in line fuse for ignition.

Sounds like the starter relay is sticking when it continue to crank engine over without the key in-try replacing it and see what happens if it continues test the ignition switch

Where is the starter relay? Cuz now I put a test light on the wire that trips the starter and turned the key and now there is no power going to the wire at all?

Disregard the starter relay and check and test the manual lever position sensor on top left of transaxle

Check for power on the black and dark blue in the cranking position-no power here-replace the ignition switch.
