1990 Ford Escort Front Wheel Drive Manual 120000 miles

the car smells really bad inside the car. it dont seem to smell too bad outside the car. the smell of petrol is very strong

It should be leaking fuel
check for fuel leak outside under the hood and under car too
remove rear seat and check too
