1989 Ford Escort Front Wheel Drive Automatic 89,000 miles

my car won;t hold a charge for more than 3 days after that it goes dead my seatbelt was running after I turn the car off this friend said my seatbelt mortor was draining all the juice out of my battery so he cut the wires to the seat belt it the belt don't keep on running anymore but my battery goes dead if I don't charge it or start it every day I think its a wiring promlem what do you think I never had this promlem till he cut the wires.
