1985 Ford Escort rs turbo keeps cutting out

My car will fire up but keeps cutting out wen running bout five mins into it then takes awhile to start bk up I can smell it gettin fuel you can hear the fuel pump. I think it could be the pink fuel relay?

It could be your fuel pump relay or it could be the fuel shut off located in the rear of the car, its a little black box under the carpet with a white button on top of it. Either could be getting hot and shutting down.
