2008 Ford Escape dead battery

2008 Ford Escape 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I went to our local gas station and just as I got back in the car from putting gas the battery died. AAA came and they charged the car and it worked great. Just as I pulled up at my house the battery died once again. What is going on?

Hello,

I take it that when you say the battery died just as you got home you mean the engine shut off. If this is the case would charge battery up again and take vehicle to local part store and have them test the battery and alternator. You could possibly have a bad alternator.
