2003 Ford Escape idle speed

Engine Performance problem
2003 Ford Escape 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 2003 escape that is idleing high and will not idle normal . Any idea on the cause? there is no check engine light on.

It is still probably the Idle Air COntrol Valve or a vacuum leak, The IAC wont always set a code
