2003 Ford Escape exaust leak

when i start the car, i hear a noise like an exaust leak but a few minute later, no more noise and when the engine is hot the noise are not there at all time. this noise are not there during the winter

Does the sound come from the front and does it almost sound like a mixture of exhaust and ticking?
