I recently purchased a used 2002 Ford Escape. Within a week the battery light came on, remained on for a few minutes and went off. Since then it comes on and remains on almost constantly, I had the battery checked at a local auto parts store and was told it is fine, but my alternator is bad. However, I have had no problems with loss of power or starting??? Now, the ABS light has come on as well as the airbag light. I have an appointment with my mechanic to check out the alternator, but I am wondering if this could be a fuse or possibly a computer module issue?
