put about 1,000 miles on without a sign of any transmission trouble. This morning my son drove it, and called saying when he stepped on the gas the vehicle went no where. It was as though it had shifted into neutral. He shifted from drive to park a few times to no avail. He then turned off the vehicle, restarted it, and everything was fine. What am I looking at?

There are a couple things that can cause this. First, we need to check for codes and find out what is there.

If you have codes, then we need to track those down and see what is there.

If there are no codes, then we need to check the fluid level and condition.

Once we know what this is we can then move onto line pressure which will most likely show our issue if none of this does.

Clearly this needs to be done when this is acting up.

Please see the info attached and let me know what questions you have.

Thanks
