2002 ford escape...truck was running fine except the last few mornings..i would go out and start it for the first time of the days and it would have plenty of ignition but just would not start..after a few times of trying it would start..but now today it wont start at all..it still has good ignition turning but just wont start..but i did try one thing..i held the gas to the floor and it started only to stall out and white smoke came out the exhaust after i took my foot off the gas..the fuel pump starts fine and the reset switch is fine..any suggestions?
