6 months ago I had a ball joint and inner and outer tie rod replaced on my escape. The dealership said it was ready to go. About a month ago the car started cutting to the left when hitting the gas and cutting to the right when letting off the gas. I took it in and they have told me that the ball joint is bad the steering knuckle and the whell bearing is bad. The ball joint is under warranty still. The mechanic is saying they may have put a bad ball joint on the car. I do know some about cars and if the ball joint was bad when they put it on cant that cause the steering knuckle to over compensate and go bad and the wheel bearing to wear down?

Not sure about the wheel bearing going bad due to that, but the steering knuckle you may have something there. Personally I havent come across a "bad" ball joint in 20+ years, you may want to talk to the service manager and ask why all of this damage has occured on the same side that their techs previously worked on. Has the vehicle been in any accidents before? At 100k things will start wearing out, but it is odd all of it is on the same side
