When I put the escape in drive, there is a rrrr sound on the front wheels when I reach 10-40 mph.
After 40, the sound goes away. This sound is only heard from the inside of the escape, not the outside. The steering is not effected and the tires are reasonably new.

Check the front hub bearing assemblies. One may be going bad and need to be replaced.
