2001 Ford Escape leak?

If my system is holding a static pressue of 100, is it possible I still could have a leak? I have put 3 12 oz cans of refrigerant in, but my compressor still cycles in and out very quickly. I am afraid to put any more in.

Have you replaced the cycle switch? Have you had the head pressure tested?
