1990 FORD E-150 VAN V8 -94,000 MILES.
REPLACED BATTERY AFTER DEAD FOR 2 WKS. ENGINE WILL CRANK BUT WON'T RUN AND STOPS. THERE WERE NO KNOWN PROBLEMS BEFORE DEAD BATTERY AS ENGINE RAN FINE. I HAD MECHANIC CHECKED ALL SENSORS AND NO CODES APPEARED. HE REMOVED VACUUM HOSE FROM MAP SENSOR AND ENGINE CRANKS AND SEEMS TO RUN NORMAL. HE SEEMS TO BE OUT OF WHAT TO DO NEXT.
ANY SUGGESTIONS OR HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Do this shoot some carb cleaner in the throttle body if it starts and then dies out-check the fuel pressure and also get him to test the MAP sensor.
