I have a 97 Econoline w/ a V6 which stopped running. I'm not sure what the problem is. The stereo, lights, interior lights, and windows all work and we attempted to jump it but it won't turn over. All I hear is ONE click coming from an area on the left side of engine near the battery. Any ideas?

Thank you.

I'll check and see. It's a single click and not more than one at a time. I assumed it was something else.

Thanks

Yes! Actually, each time I try to start there is one single click that happens. What does that indicate?
