I PUT MY VAN IN PARK AT THE MALL, WHEN I RETURNED AND ATTEMPTED TO LEAVE THE SHIFT WOULDN'T MOVE OUT OF PARK.

There is a shift interlock down on the brake pedal linkage that won't allow you to shift out of park unless the brake pelal is depressed. Check this unit for adjustment.
