2004 Ford E-Series Van Loss of Power

2004 FORD E-SERIES VAN

Suddenly, the van is losing power while driving. It initially shut off and then regained power slightly, just enough for me to make it home. Barely made it home and probably will need to have it towed to a shop. I am not sure what it could be and would like some direction before going to a dealer or mechanic. Thanks Kai Woodley

odd. sounds like your running out of fuel for it to come on so suddenly.

when did you notice this. after hitting a bump in the road. maybe slamming on the brakes? if so you could have a loose wire somewhere.

hard to really know untill i know how its driving. so please explain how the vehicle is running? noises making, top out at 30mph? tugging? lugging what.
