1990 Ford E-Series Van what is the normal range for water t

1990 FORD E-SERIES VAN

the temp guage varys from 1/2 to 3/4. is this normal? also it has 2 fuel tanks. I don't do any long distance driving, should I keep both tanks full and use only one or use both tanks just to keep things working?

wouldn't be bad to use the extra tank just every so often to keep the fuel circulating in it. temp. gauge should be steady right around the 1/2 mark.
