1989 Ford E-Series Van wont crank or turnover

i crunk my van and it make a spinning, light rattling noise and as i accelerate it gets louder then the van cuts off. now when i try to crank it ,it clicks and wont turn over. i was told it might be the starter or cylinoid

Could be the starter motor, starter relay, transmission range switch and ignition switch assuming the battery and connections are good.
