91 Ford Crown Victoria, 4.6 engine

Driver, front window won't role up, window motor was replaced less than year ago. I hear motor engaging, but runs foreward a few seconds and stops, upon pushing reverse button it again runs for a few seconds and stops. No window movement up or down

Sounds like the window either popped off the regulator or the regulator went bad and is not allowing the window to move

It sounds like the little dogs in the motor head have gone out the motor moves but the gear to move the regulator up and down don't. 8) NOS
