the engine displays a miss when the accellerator pedal is slightly pressed. Pressing it down more makes the miss go away. Going up a slight hill, since it usually requires a slight increase in fuel/accellerator produces the same problem. Any idea/

OK let me ask a couple questions first so I can better help. Is the check engine light on? How old are the spark plugs and fuel filter? Is the air filter clean? Get back to me and we will go from there.

Thank you. I am going to begin with the fuel filter and work forward from that point. I suspect the spark plugs may need changing and will attend to that. Some suggested the EGR valve but I'll hold off on that one until I am desparate. LOL

Thanks again

Ok let me know how it runs after you change the filters and plugs. As for the EGR we can test that is you are still having problems. Get back to me and we will go from there.
