2002 Ford Crown Victoria head crack or head gasket???

how i can differentiate between a cracked head or worn head gasket if there is a white smoke going out of my car??

Can't determine if gasket or cracked head white smoke and coolant in oil will hapen with either failure. Won't for sure till it's apart.
