I have a 2000 crown vic police interceptor that I us to commute back and forth to work. A couple of days ago I noticed that when I start my car after it sits for a couple of hours the oil pressure guage sits for five seconds before it pops up to the normal operating range. (It does not gradually go up) It never did this beofre, it always popped right up to the operating range w/o any hesitation. Is this an indicator that something is wrong with the oil pump?
