Engine Performance problem
2000 Ford Crown Victoria V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

broke down and bought a manual. A must have. First, found out number 1 plug is on passenger side, not driver side. So coil I changed was in wrong place. Swapped that, cleared codes in computer and went for a drive. Helped, but not all hesitation gone. Then got another code! Bad upstream o2 sensor on bank 1. (Passenger side). Replaced that, car runs smooth as silk. Hope this helps someone else. If at first you dont succeed, yadda yadda. Good luck!

Great news!

I applaud you for buying a reference manual, they will pay for themselves the first repair.

Consider what a shop would have charged you to repair car vs. Cost of manual.

Good job.
