I bought a brand new batery and replaced the altenator but my battery still wont hold a charge. The lights cut off, the signal lights and everything stops working. What could be the problem? Is this major or can I repair this myself? Please help. The check ngine light and the ABS light comes on as well.

I really feel the check engine and abs are something different from the battery issue. The computer will need scanned to identify where the problem is coming from setting the check engine... lights. Most nationally recognized parts stores will do it for free.

As far as the other problem with the dead battery, have you checked the vehicle for a battery draw?

Let me know.
