The only way a crank sensor can arc is if the crank sensor is hitting the sensor ring. Or possibly something has fallen behind the pulley. There is nothing electrical connected to the pulley. Check the sensor down behind the A/C compressor. If that is where the arc is coming from, you can replace sensor easily.
