1998 Ford Crown Victoria Fuel Pump

I have a 1998 Crown Vic it has been sitting up for about 15 months it ran fine when it was park but I tried to crank it and it does not act like it is getting gas in the passed i could hear the fuel pump running when you turned the key on now i can not hear this is it possible the fuel pump went bad while sitting up or is this going to be a fuse or what

Power the fuel pump direct from the battery if it comes On and produces the correct fuel pressure check fuel pump fuse and relay-
