ENTERING SELF-DIAGNOSTICS
Ensure coolant temperature is at least 120°F (49°C) before entering self-diagnostics.
Ensure in-car temperature is between 40-90°F (4-32°C).
Simultaneously depress OFF and FLOOR buttons, then press AUTOMATIC button within 2 seconds. Display will show a dashed line in the center of the display window for up to 30 seconds while test is running. Record all DTCs as displayed.
To exit self-diagnostics while retaining DTCs, depress Blue (cooler) temperature button.
The EATC module will retain all DTCs, exit self-diagnostics and turn system off (display blank).
To exit self-diagnostics and clear DTCs, press defrost button on control panel. Display will show "888" for 1 second, then will go blank and all DTCs will be cleared.
Any intermittent DTCs will be deleted after 80 ignition on-off cycles after condition occurs.
NOTE: Always exit self-diagnostic test before powering system down.
