This is the 4.6L VIN W motor.

There is a large nut holding the fan assembly to the water pump fan clutch.

How do you loosen this nut off the water pump shaft?

There does not seem to be anyway to hold the pully when trying to loosen it.

Before removing the belt place the wrench on the clutch nut and use a rubber mallet hit the wrench
that also should free it

It looks like the Fan Clutch Pully Holder spans the 4 bolts/nuts on the clutch, right?

And, where can I get the Pully Holder?

Jack O,

I called the local auto parts store and they have the pully holder tool.

Thanks for your help and have a great day.

Dave
